Meeka Weeps Breadcrumbs Actively #FridayRecommends

Friday Recommends

This week is all about friend and fellow writer A. C. Flory, also known as Meeka.

Meeka got a great review on a trilogy and dropped breadcrumbs in her announcement that led to another author, D. Wallace Peach, who also has intriguing books and stellar covers.

I’m also indebted to Meeka for breadcrumbing me to this article by Jimmy Kindree, also an author, about Active Verbs, Their Use, and Their Limits. Please note the Oxford comma. GO, TEAM OXFORD COMMA!

And that article dropped a breadcrumb which led me to “The Death of a Moth,” by Annie Dillard. ~happy sigh~

And now, because it’s been months and months since I shared it:

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Someone is interrupted.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Can’t use the writing prompt. It would trigger something akin to ‘moving-induced PTSD,’ if there is such a thing (there must be).

    Aargh!

I think there probably is. Stress is stress, even if it’s good. If it’s mixed….
