I got to meet with a couple of friends at Aladdin’s in New Albany, one of my favorite places to eat.
NATURALLY, I photographed doors. The one with the table and chairs out front is the Top Shelf, which I had to photograph for Dan. It isn’t John Howell‘s bourbon, though; it’s guns.
Thursday Doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his instructions, and enter a world of doors.
A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about a run-down property, a gate, and a gun.

July 4, 2019 at 7:16amThese are pretty cool. I like Aladdin’s lines, and the hovel is a good photo. Bourbon and guns don’t mix, so best we leave the bottle over at Miss Kitty’s.
I hope you enjoy the 4th.

July 4, 2019 at 3:06pmIs Aladdin’s a Greek place? We had a number of good restaurants call that in Cleveland. I miss them.
