Because MomGoth Keeps Her Promises #FridayRecommends on Monday

So this guy (Jake Henry) emailed me and asked me to add a link to his website (Gardener’s Path) on one of my previous posts. As always, I was like, “No. Are you crazy? Why would I add a link to your site to one of my old posts? If I like your site, I’ll put it in a new post, you silly person!”

I love the site, and I promised to link to it on a Friday Recommends post, but then I stopped doing Friday Recommends because now I’m doing #FridaysForFuture #ClimateStrike.

But I promised, so I herewith present the article on beneficial insects on Gardener’s Path that Jake Henry sent me. Gardener’s Path is a beautiful, beautiful site, filled with useful tips and links. You can also zen out on the gorgeous photographs. A happy place.

And, because I just love to share, there’s this.

You’re welcome.

My mom had a habit of saying she was going to do something, intending to do it, then explaining the circumstances that had made it impossible after all. She would say, “I said I would, but I didn’t promise.” It made sense, although I didn’t like it. I learned 1) Don’t say you’ll do something if it’s iffy, say you’ll try or you’ll do it if at all possible, 2) If you say you’ll do something, have a good reason why you don’t do it, and 3) If you promise, either follow through or have a DAMN good reason why.

    Thanks! I needed that video!
I awoke before 6, after a nasty set of dreams, and severe sleep apnea. My blood sugar was 15, I was out of breath…(DUH! You stop breathing during Apnea!) Mother nature was calling, and I was starved. I went up, downed a banana, and a Small TV dinner. (I was too lazy to make breakfast.) Mother nature was pacified… I let the cat sneak a peek outside, and took my insulin and morning pills. Then I needed something to perk and cheer me up, and calm me down. That Tape Face video did the trick! THANKS!

Oh, Pete, I couldn’t sleep without my apnea machine! Please try to get one. HUGS! I’m glad I could perk up your morning. I love that guy!
