Let’s Go! #1LinerWeds

My family practically communicated entirely in catchphrases. Kind of like that Star Trek: TNG episode only, you know, not.

ANYWAY, if you were just finishing and somebody told you to get a move on when you were already ready, you said,

If you’re waitin’ on me, you’re backin’ up!

This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s weekly blog hop, One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner or just like them, follow the link.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Someone tries to rush someone who is ahead of them.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

I like that. Family phrases are the best. My father had so many (most of which I can’t share on a polite blog) and my brother and I fall back into that routine whenever we’re together.

So don’t share ’em on your blog; share ’em on my blog. 😀

Love it! We also live by catchphrase — idioms, quotes 🙂
