No story today, even though it’s Story A Day May. I’m writing offline today.
electrek’s Climate Crisis Weekly tells me that climate change deniers are a bit more likely to believe the pandemic is a hoax. No surprise, there. If you don’t believe the science, you don’t believe the science. If you respond to frightening news by plugging your ears and yelling, “La-la-la, I can’t heeeeeear youuuuu,” then that’s how you respond. I’m just sayin’.
Climate repair activist Greta Thunberg, meanwhile, who is my greatest hero, now that my mother has passed, has donated the $100,000 award she was just given to UNICEF for supplies to fight the Coronavirus in children.
Let’s see this planet populated with happy, healthy people. It isn’t impossible.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Someone gives away an award.

May 8, 2020 at 4:08pmI’d forgotten about Greta which is sad, but she continues to amaze with her common sense. Have you seen the red MAGA-style hats that say: “Make America Greta Again”? I do like that sentiment. Happy Weekend.
