Cat Finds Happiness

Once upon a time, there was a cat who was as good as she was beautiful.

Although she was so beautiful and good, she was unhappy. She loved her Mommy and Poppy very much, especially her Poppy, and they loved her. But they wouldn’t let her on the table, and they scolded her every time she scratched on the furniture. Also, her brother had jumped in and used her favorite litterbox the night before, right after it had been cleaned, when she liked it the most, and she had to use her second-favorite.

“Oh,” thought the beautiful cat, “if I could only sit on the window seat, I am sure I would be happy!” But her hoggy brother was already there.

When he left (prolly to use the best litter box behind her back), she took his place.

But it didn’t make her happy.

Then she remembered her cat-bird seat, at the top of the sitty thing her Poppy had made for her.

But her hoggy brother was already there. She jumped up and smacked him.

“Ow! Ow! Ow!” he cried. “Please don’t hit me! You are too strong for me! Please let me stay and bask in the rays of your power and beauty!”

So the good, kind, beautiful girl cat let her hoggy brother stay. They looked down on the rest of the house.

And they lived happily ever after.
