Walk the Walk #1LinerWeds

I was walking down the hall at work with a friend, and a woman was walking in front of us. Whether by nature or design, she was illustrating the meaning of the word “sashay”. I mean, if Housekeeping had tied a broom to her back, they wouldn’t have had to sweep that hall, you get me?

ANYWAY, my friend says, real quiet like, so as not to be impolite, she says:

I wish I had a swing like that on my back porch.

This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s weekly blog hop, One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner or just like them, follow the link.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about walking down a hallway.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
