Sunday Snapshot: Pretty Thing

I don’t know what this is, but one of the girls gave it to me and it’s pretty. Those aren’t yellow dots in the middle of the flowers; they’re holes with the sun shining through.

Yes, the window is dirty. I maintain that if I want to see what’s outside, I’ll go outside.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about what that pretty thing may be.

That’s unique. I like those flowers with the hole-y middles.

It could be used for garlic storage, perhaps. Or maybe it’s home to a fairy, and those flower centers are her windows to your world.

Well of course you do! Because you know that’s the CORRECT answer. I just proposed “garlic storage” after Googling – others might run across an abandoned fairy house and not know what to do with it. If they’re not going to put it into a sunny window to invite the fairies to move in, they might just as well have SOME practical alternative!
