Anybody who has read this blog in the last few months knows that I epitomize the fact that “fan” is short for “fanatic” when it comes to Supernatural.
One of the reasons is how far off the rails the dialog goes sometimes.
Possibly my favorite line, because it was arguably the farthest off the rail, was what Becky said when she “broke up” with Sam. She was trying to let him down easy, since she sincerely believed her adoration was reciprocated. She admitted that they had a special love, but, she tells him earnestly:
Like a monkey on the sun, it was too hot to live.

May 12, 2021 at 1:30pmIt would be 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s the heat of the surface of the sun, so that’s the heat of the monkey. You’re welcome.
