Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what?
I played a trick on Momma. It was so funny! I betended that I didn’t have any legs at all. This move is called “doing a loaf”, but I did it specially good.
Momma thought it was great, but it scared Chickie. She’s a good sister.
I guess the foxes are gone, cause the raccoon is back, and naughtier than ever! Momma got some pictures.
The next day, Momma looked out and saw this. Or didn’t see something.
Momma had smoked some ribs on the grill, and forgot to clean the grease bucket. She’s used to doing vegetables.
After that raccoon naughtiness, I decided Momma deserved some quiet beauty.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you ever give your hooman quiet comfort?

June 20, 2021 at 4:07amWe’ve never had a bbq or grill or anything like that so I’m glad you explained what that thing was, Tipper. And I agree, extra special good imitation of a loaf. Have a good weekend handsome boy!

June 20, 2021 at 11:07amHe’s having a great time, climbing into my lap at every opportunity. And fighting with Chickie, even though he’s the one who always ends up with a scratch on his little pink nose.

June 21, 2021 at 8:02amI do think so. When she was smaller, he let her beat him up, and now he’s paying for encouraging her. ha!

June 21, 2021 at 7:57pm-giggles- Oh Tipper, you silly boy! Chickie was never the shy, retiring type. He should have known better. 😀

June 19, 2021 at 12:20pmWondered how the guys were – now I’m up to date. I like the loaf – so soft and fluffy.
Wish I had the energy for a pet.

June 19, 2021 at 2:11pmI wish everybody who lacked the energy for a pet was responsible enough to not get one. I’m so sad for the animals who get returned to the pet store or sent to the animal shelter because they turned out to be too much work.

June 19, 2021 at 5:21pmThat’s why I stuck with Gizzy for five years: I had agreed to take her on, so she was MY responsibility, trouble or not.

June 19, 2021 at 7:21amQuiet comfort? Sometimes Maddie will lay on us, but the cats are noisy first, then we comfort them, then they comfort us.
