Chickie Gets Tricky #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

Tipper and I played a good trick on Mommy. Tipper hid behind the bookcase. I got Mommy to look at me, then I went behind the bookcase and Tipper came out from the other side. Mommy said, “What? I thought I had two cats, but I only have one?” We flopped on the floor and laughed and laughed!

Then I played another trick. Mommy was sitting up in bed, reading, and I got on the Chickie Blanket, like always, and I did like I was put together wrong, like this:

Mommy said, “I’m going to have to take you into the shop and have you recalibrated.”

She opened a new bag of tweets and put them in the tweet jar with the screw-on top that she keeps in a drawer. I don’t know why she won’t let me just help myself anymore. But she always gives me the empty tweet bag to play with. I wanted to say thank you, so she came to bed and found this:

She was so happy, she laughed!

Sometimes it’s boring being a cat, so sometimes I play like the couch is a wild buffamo or something, and I have to hang on for dear nine lives!

Yipee-ki-yay, mummerfummer.

Now I have to go think up some more tricks to make Mommy laugh! Today would have been Poppy’s birfday, and she’s kind of sad. But I bet you a Temptations chicken tweet Tipper and I make her laugh.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you play tricks on your hooman? Think of one right now!

I loved that bookcase trick, Chickie. I bet your Mum did a double take. Now, I have to entrust you with a special job…can you give your Mum a big hug from me, Golli, Harry and Mogi please? Birthdays are very special. Oh and give yourself a hug too. And one for Tipper, if he’ll let you. šŸ™‚

That’s a great trick, Chickie. It’s good of you two to keep the laughter flowing.

Wish I could do this in person: gentle hugs. Many happy memories. Not the same, but a whole heck of a lot better than nothing.
