I just buzzed through the Grishaverse trilogy, otherwise known as Shadow and Bone, although that’s just the title of the first book. I watched the Netflix series and ADORED IT, so imagine my surprise when the series turned out to have been a mash-up of the Shadow and Bone trilogy and the Six of Crows duology.

Naturally, I’ve ordered the Six of Crows duology.

ANYWAY, I loved the trilogy. Lots of good one-liners, but this is the one I saved for One-Liner Wednesday.

Two princes are arguing over the future path of the country. One (the one we don’t like) says, “I can’t decide if you’re a fearmonger or a coward.”

The one we like replies:

“And I can’t decide if you’re an idiot or an idiot.”

Laugh, because we like this prince and we don’t like the other one. Context is everything.
