Knoxville Again #ThursdayDoors

I told you I had a wealth of great doors from Knoxville, Tennessee, thanks to #4 Daughter. Here are some more.

The big doors with the arched gate are in shadow, but the little white box in the foreground also has doors. I don’t know what that bright yellow thing is, but isn’t it cheerful?

There ARE doors in this picture, but that window is the star.

Hard not to get distracted by everything going on here, but those double doors are actually revolving doors. I love revolving doors beyond all reason.

Sara says she couldn’t resist this Pharmacy’s red pillar and the lights for Joey.

Are the flanking pillars lights, or just have lights in their bases? I know not. Fountain. ARCH.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

I also love revolving doors. I also love theater doors and you’re right about that window – excellent!
