This site is one I’m gonna tuck into my back pocket for use during Story A Day May. It’s a Nonsense Word Generator; it “generates nonsense words based on a frequency list of phonemes as they occur in legitimate English words.” So, come Story A Day, I might just hop over there and grab a few words and write stories around what those words sound like they might mean or words they make me think of.
It’s February, but we’ve had some unseasonably warm days, and the snowdrops and daffodils are in bloom, so I got to feeling rather (or, as we said when/where I grew up, “kinely”) flowery ( or “flowerdy”).
Somebody on Instagram advised me that I needed better cleanup, and oil on my hands to fix that dry skin. I felt very warm and fuzzy toward her, since those are the least of my nail art problems. She could have said, “You missed a couple of spots, and you dinged up ALL your nails, and the fluid art decals look like a bikini on a whale. Also, remove the cat hair,” but she didn’t. So thank you, nice lady.
I try.
The base color here is Orly’s Trendy. The fluid art was built with Baroness X’s Porthole, Live Love Polish’s Sandstorm, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri’s Sugar Poppy, and Essie’s Off Tropic. The stamps on the two accent nails were done with Sandstorm, using Maniology’s M187 plate.
A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Flowers out of place/time.

I hope you will be encouraged to join us for the Thursday Doors Writing Challenge – It would be wonderful to see Steffie again – (I know, she may have retired).
