One of my calendars claims that Diwali is this week, but the interwebs say it’s later.
ANYWAY, I have to tell you than I’m totally obsessed with Indian actor/activist/everything wonderful Shah Rukh Khan. My Netflix list is so packed with his movies, I’m surprised Facebook doesn’t load itself for me in Hindi.
So my nails this week are inspired by a White American woman’s idea of Diwali decorations. Hashtag cultural appropriation, hashtag celebrating somebody else’s holiday. In my defense, Diwali celebrates the triumph of good over evil, and I am all about that.
The colors are burgundy, yellow, blue, pink, red, and green.
A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Good triumphs over evil.

October 9, 2023 at 9:22amMy nails are Halloween colors right now. I’m also an SRK fan. It’s been a while – I should look for his movies on Netflix. (They are funny. I keep thinking I’m confounding their algorithm, but really, they know me better than Facebook.)
