EverMom asted me to tell you she has a new book out. I was excited, because Tiph sounded like me.

I couldn’t be told to do anything other than stand around and look as decorative as possible, to be ostentatiously useless….

But den she read me dis:

I left Earth to vacation on the planet Marner and never went back. Not because the Marneri look like humanoid cats, which is a big draw for a lot of humans, but because…. Well, for a lot of reasons, none of which is that they look like humanoid cats. I don’t like cats. I don’t like humans, either, which is two strikes against the Marneri, to begin with. In their favor they have this: they aren’t, in fact, cats or humans.

That hurted my feelers, but EverMom said Connie is a different person and she, EverMom, loves cats and even some people. Ded she petted me and it was all right.

So dis is da book:

Connie Phelan was born with no money, no prospects, and no filter. Her smart mouth got her into and out of trouble until she parlayed it into entertainment stardom. But that wasn’t enough. p.s. EverMom has a new name for me: Fraulein Overknocker. She says it’s because I like to knock things over. I told her that’s because I want to see what it looks like underneath. So she said, “Oh, you’re a scientist now? So I’ll call you Fraulein Professor Overknocker.”

    Adi, you did an excellent job promoting Overlord’s…I mean EverMom’s…book. I think you are ostentatiously beautiful and decorative, and definitely serve a purpose in mom’s life.
