Thursday Doors: CoryDoors Mostly Out Back

#ThursdayDoors #writingprompt

I went somewhere this week and got some doors.

The first one is The Book Box, the Friends of Harrison County Library book sale location. It used to be an ATM, I think. Mom and I used to volunteer here.

Then there are some ghost doors/windows.

Next is the back door of the Town Council building. I like it that they have a permanent ramp.

Now, the reason I was out and about was that I had to go to the viewing of a friend of mine who just died after a prolonged illness. Perhaps it was a bit ghoulish, but I had to share this picture of an ACTUAL HEARSE of the horse-drawn days.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

I’m sorry about your friend. That hearse is quite a piece of history.

Thanks, Maureen, and I agree about the hearse. I wish they could use it on me, except that I wouldn’t be there to enjoy it.
