hi i peanut i little but i old.
i useta live wiff my hooman mom an hooman bruvvers an younger cat sister an i live there inna trailer for 15 yrs but my hooman bruvvers grow up an move out an my hooman mom move to a panartment an the panartment hoomans don’t let cats be there an one hooman bruvver take my cat sister an dis lady i live wif now take me.
my hooman mom call dis lady i live wif now mar short for marian so my hooman bruvvers call her grandmar so i will too.
i don’t like bein put inna cage and move to a new place. it make me shy.
i run all over looking for a place to hide.
i climb onna table to see if i can get out.
but i can’t get out. grandmar has a bed for me an food an water an a potty box she keeps clean an she brings me toys but i hide an hide. just hide. i come out when she not inna room an eat an play and do de thing in de potty box. besides dat i just hide.
grandmar comes up an sits an plays onna noisy thing or reads or talks sweet to me but i hide. i think there are other cats outside de room but grandmar keeps de door closed so dey won’t fight me but dey wouldn’t fight me because i hide. she says i imbizible kitty. i come out when i wanna come out.

September 23, 2025 at 11:09amI’m sure Peanut would hug everybody back if she weren’t a hidey-cat. Our “I’m basically a monkey” instincts make us want to KNOW where she is, but we have to tamp that instinct down and leave her alone. It’s hard! We know she’s okay, since she obviously comes out when she’s alone, and she has safe comfortable hiding places which she doesn’t use because we can see into them, so we just have to sit on our little monkey hands and LEAVE her ALONE.
