HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

Mommy did a projeck, like Poppy used to do, but I didn’t know it was a Poppy Projeck because there wasn’t any cussing so I didn’t know she needed help so I didn’t. She git it done, anyway. She says she’ll tell you about it anudder day.

I did get a chance to help on one of her blue days that she says would have been a ammibersary. It had something to do with Poppy, because she talked about him. She wasn’t blue-blue this year, though, she was kinda happy-blue. But I helped by sitting onna back of her chair like I used to do with Poppy. It made her smile and then laugh.

I also got to help Mommy change the bed. Tipper helped me help.

Then she went out onna porch to “fire up dagrill,” whatever a dagrill is, so I checked to make sure she was doing whatever it is right.

And then I warmed up her bed for her, and she said, “Life is a bed of roses, isn’t it?”

I don’t know what that means, but a bed is a bed of bed, and that’s plenty for me.
