Anyway, I ordered a carnitas dinner with extra refried beans, and the DoorDash said it arrived but it didn’t. So they sent another order, but my carnitas were almost exclusively onions. Well, that was okay, because I like onions, but still.
So the next day, I cooked some pork belly and added the leftover onions and beans. I got some farmers market corn out of the freezer and added that, and Sara and I had kinda sorta leftover stew.

Oh, and it turned out that my order had been delivered next door to Sara’s house, but it was two and a half hours before that was discovered, and nobody wanted to eat food that had been out in the heat for over two hours. Bleh.
