So Sara and I found five tiny morels on our first foray of the year, and I breaded them and fried them and used them to garnish the Tonkatsu Ramen we had before nail night. Neither of us can leave well alone, so NATURALLY I tarted it up.
I started the water early, put in the broth packet, and boiled paper-thin carrots, frozen spinach, and the white parts of green onions until the spinach was defrosted and the carrots were cooked through. Meanwhile, I breaded and fried the mushrooms and perfect-cooked some eggs.*
When we were ready to eat, I put in the ramen noodles to boil for three minutes and added some diced cooked chicken, and put the greens of the green onions into bowls.
I divided the soup into the bowls, topped them with the eggs, and garnished them with the mushrooms.

Kids, that was some good grub.
*Perfect-cooked eggs: Bring water to a boil. Gently lower egg(s). Let boil for 7 1/2 minutes, then drain and cool in cold water. A perfect egg for ramen should be kind of gooey in the middle. I actually like them a trifle gooier, but these are within my acceptable parameters.
