Grandmar was gone LONG TIME, like four days! She lef me lots of water in little bowls an the crunchy food dat comes out by itself twice a day but she didn’t come up an gib me mooshy food. anudder lady came, grandmar said it was #1 Hooman Sister an she saw ants an put my mooshy food in anudder room an i wouldn’t eat it cause it was inna wrong room.
it was so quiet. no grandmar talkin to de odder cats or comin up an talkin to me while i hid. i got lonely. i din play a lot.

den grandmar come home.
I heard her downstairs talkin an laffin an tellin de odder cats she missed dem. den she hollered i missed you, too, Little Miss Imbizible!

She stopped de ants an put my mooshy food back inna right place an went downstairs an i came out an ate my mooshy food an played crazycakes.

an dat’s all.

July 28, 2026 at 9:29amShe is crazy cakes up there. I move one of the cat cams around so I can see her in various places. Not in her hidey holes, though. Those are sacred.

July 27, 2026 at 7:37pmI love reading about Peanut. 🙂 I think she missed your reassuring presence while you were gone. Hopefully this will lead to a little less imbizibility.

July 28, 2026 at 9:28amI wish, but I’m not holding my breath. Or “breff,” as Peanut would say.

July 26, 2026 at 3:43pmI was surprised by the difference in Peanut’s behavior on the cat cam while I was gone and after I came back. Apparently, she doesn’t want us to see each other, but she likes to know I’m around. 🙂

Darn those ants!
Marian Allen
July 26, 2026 at 3:42pmI know that ants need to eat, too, but they have a whole world OUTSIDE my house. I don’t go out and eat their food.
