So I rewatched Season 1 of Squid Game as a writer. I had a feeling I needed to, and I was right. There were so many foreshadowings and resonances, so many motifs and parallels, the rewatch was well worth the time. Horrible show. Wonderful show.

My nails this week were various reds, each stamped with gold roses. Sadly, the topcoat and/or the Smudge-free coat leached the gold or most of the gold out of two of the polishes. It very rarely happens that my thumbs are my favorite, but this week my thumbs are my favorite.

My father always said, “you can learn from anyone and any experience.” I guess he was right.

Those are cool nails.I once tried adding a gold accent to a wood frame. It took so many tries before I figured out how not to mess that up when trying to add a top coat.
