In other news, the fabulous Sara Deurell–also known as Sara D–has a new post up at her writing blog SARA D VS. REALITY. I would highly recommend Sara as a writer, editor and blogger even if I hadn’t given birth to her.

The ever-intriguing Barbara J. King’s Friday Animal Blog has a new post up, this one on celebrating Jane Goodall, and includes suggestions of things we can do to support animal welfare, other than telling each other, “It’s a shame about the animals, isn’t it?” I’m currently reading Dr. King’s BEING WITH ANIMALS and enjoying it very much.

Today, Mom and I are going to Charlestown Road to grocery shop. Our local stores don’t have much in the way of fancy food, and we’ve got a hankering for something fancy. Charlie told me last night, he isn’t all that into tofu. I love it, though, so I might pick up a carton or two and freeze them. I’ll let you know if anything interesting–for a certain value of “interesting”–comes of it.
