Glamor Shots #Caturday

the queenAmidala speaking.

MaMA has been taking glamor shots of us. She read something online about taking good photos of one’s cats, and she’s been trying it. She’s coming along, but she might try focusing once in a while, or holding the camera steady instead of waving it around while she clicks the shutter.

She says she’s ever so grateful for digital cameras, so she can delete the really bad ones. These are not the really bad ones, mind you.

glamor shotsAnd here’s an astounding shot nobody ever thought to see. Indeed, our youngest human sister insists it was Photoshopped, but it was real: I was there, and saw it myself!

Munchi and PopYes, Charlie actually let Munchkin (or, as he calls him, Buster Brown) curl up next to him!

As a matter of fact, I’ve been known to do it myself:

OK. I have another Blackjack story:

I was taking pix of my boy with my brother’s fancy camera (0ne with actual film in it), because it had a focus feature which was SWEET. Anyway, I’d get the focus right, have to hold it steady, account for lighting (indoors with a black cat), and still have my subject in the same spot. BJ would hold still for me, pose an I suggested, (“Turn this way a bit, honey” “No, your other right paw.”) ETC. The pix were gorgeous. No focus issues, great poses but…….. There turned out to be one thing in common with all the pix: BJ’s ears were slanting toward me while he listened to his instructions!! Still gorgeous, tho.

I got ones of BJ and Nick together with the same camera and the same result: BJ posed delightfully, and Nick did whatever he wanted to. 😉
