I keep making new worlds, because it’s fun. It just is, okay?
So this time, I spawned onto a tiny island that’s over-run with domestic animals. I don’t need a barn or a barnyard, because those guys aren’t going anywhere. In fact, I had to build a fence to keep them out of my house!
There’s a picture of my tiny house, with the garden besides it. I built a boat and went to other islands and brought back roses, peonies, sugar cane, and acacia trees. Amazingly, this picture doesn’t have any animals in it. Usually, they’re sticking their snouts all up in my grill or knocking me off into the water.
There’s the interior of my house. Nothing in it but two storage chests, an anvil, a furnace, a stonecutter, and (up in the loft) a crafting table. My bed is also in the loft. And how do I get up to the loft?
I used my shears to harvest some vines and slapped them onto the wall. When I want to go to bed, I swarm up the vines like a pirate.
And here’s me. The amazing Steven Saus recommended SkinSeed, and I used it to make this l’il MomGoth figure to play the game as me. I usually play first-person, so I can’t see the avatar, but I know it’s there, and that comforts me. Steven made a figure for me, but I couldn’t grab the image I needed, so I made my own. I particularly like the gold-rimmed glasses and the silver streak in my hair.
Why, yes, I do have better things to do. Why do you ask?
I’m posting today on Fatal Foodies about eatin’ like po’ folks.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Would your main character rather live in a huge, ornate house or a tiny, plain house, if those were the only two options?

October 13, 2015 at 7:21amI’ve always like the idea of a bed in a loft. I might prefer stairs though.

October 13, 2015 at 8:47amYeah, no way would I go up vines the way my Minecraft avatar does. I remember those climbing ropes in gym class. Or, as I knew them, those standing at the bottom and crying ropes.

Tiny house? Big house?
Q: How many servants do I get?
Marian Allen
October 13, 2015 at 8:48amOh, yeah, important question! And how much money to heat/cool it and pay the servants? Let’s say ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD. Then what?
