Amidala’s Position #Caturday

the queenAmidala speaking.

I’m becoming accustomed to not having my foster brother around anymore. It’s been very difficult. Daddy Ed, who was my human all my life until he went to the Rainbow Bridge, had lots of companion cats for me. Munchkin was the only one MaMA brought for me when she brought me to her house. Although I’ll admit it was a bit tiresome sometimes, having other cats eating my food and taking up my human’s attention, I did miss Munchkin when he went to be with Daddy Ed.

But MaMA does all she can to make it up to me. She bought me a stuffed hedgehog to snuggle with, and rubs it with catnip regularly (I like catnip!). She puts a cover on the couch she sits on to work, so I don’t get human cooties on my fur.

AmiAloneYes, my fur is still quite short, but it’s growing out.

Here is my favorite position. I like to curl up on MaMA’s lap, with my chin resting on her arm. She pretends it makes it hard to type, but I believe she must like it, for she never makes me move unless she has to get up for something.

AmiWristI’ve just discovered another good position: I’m currently standing on her lap, with my rear end sitting on her left arm. She claims that makes it even more difficult to work, but I think she’d do quite well if she’d stop laughing.

Humans are so odd, aren’t they?

We were just talking this morning about how our dog has changed our long-established Saturday morning routines. We adapt, they rule.

    Cute cat pix!!! ALERT!

I like the way Ami reveals her deepest psyche and shares with us her important human tips. It’s very zen. If I could stop laughing. 😉

Yeah, I was like, I ain’t believing you’re standing up with your REAR END PARKED on my arm. There’s no way that could be relaxing. You’re just doing that to freak me out, cat!
