Sweetie Pie Turner here, MomGoth’s mother’s cat.
Every morning, MomGoth comes over to feed me before she gets Mom up and going. Here is how I greet her when she comes in the front door.
She (and Mom, because I do it to Mom, too) says, “I could feed you sooner, if you didn’t stop right in my way.” But I’m just so happy!
Here’s my very most favorite door in all the whole wide world.
I only get one cup of it a day, so I appreciate every nugget (or “grain,” as MomGoth calls them for some reason).
Here I am, enjoying my morning portion. I get a few grains here and there during the day, and the balance of the cup just before my Mom goes to bed.
This is my very own entry into Norm Frampton’s Thursday Doors link-up. Go check out the other entries!
A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: What’s your favorite door, and why?

April 16, 2016 at 8:30amWhat a fine door, Sweetie Pie!
My girl Tootsie loved a door just like it because she could climb up inside it when it was partly pulled open and then sit on the top! (She was a very naughty girl, though, so don’t get any wild ideas!)

April 16, 2016 at 6:47pmMomGoth has told me ALL ABOUT Tootsie, and I don’t want to be like her! I don’t like climbing, anyway. I don’t even get into laps. I like it on the back of the couch, but that’s as high as I like to climb. — SPT

April 16, 2016 at 1:57pmAw! So cute! Our pet food operation goes on at the back door, and it’d be nice to have some way to tuck it all away like you do. I’m not invested enough in aesthetics to purchase the hoity-toity items they peddle for that…
Anyway, we have three, and they don’t bother with the leg affection, they hop right to their table and crowd the bowl, so I find myself sayin, “Scuse me please! Scuse me!” and shoving them around to get the kibble to the dish!

April 16, 2016 at 6:50pmMom doesn’t go for that frou-frou stuff, either. The cat food is in the laundry room. The bird food is in an old clothes hamper with a lid.
Oh, I just hate it when I’m trying to feed a cat or a dog wet food and they stick their head right under the gloop! Dummies!
