I loves me some life hacks (meaning, according to the Wiktionary, “To apply a trick, shortcut, skill, or novelty method to something to increase productivity, efficiency or ease.”). So I was thrilled to come across Wonder How To: Fresh Hacks for a Changing World. Food hacks! Gadget hacks! So! Many! Hacks!
Sometimes I invest in an Indiegogo campaign. If I were a camping person, I would be all over the Qube Tents. I wish they made them to open completely on one side, so we could use them for outdoor sales events. Oh, wait, I forgot: I’m not doing outdoor events anymore. I got tired of getting heat stroke. What a wimp.
Oh, I took this picture day before yesterday for Dan Antion and forgot to post it yesterday.
ANYWAY, Dan had a super-funny post the other day, and I want to be sure you don’t miss it. It’s called PT, Jesus and Mary — No, Not That Mary. It’s a post about a holy roller. No, not that kind of holy roller.
This is the Mary he’s talking about: Mary J. Melange. She awesome, and has cats named Gibbs and Ziva, and is extra-super-dooper funny and all kindsa cool. Her blog is called … wait for it … Mary J Melange:
A hodgepodge of thoughts, ideas and the reality of life.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: If your main character has/had a cat, what is/would be/was its name?

April 7, 2017 at 7:15amThanks for thinking of me with the crane pic, and thanks for the shout. We end up with pretty normal names. Although I guess MiMi and MuMu aren’t really normal. For a character cat, I like the way Mary’s mind works.

April 7, 2017 at 5:25pmWe’ve had 3 cats. Out first was a stray we brought home. She wandered, and was frisky so I named her Frisky Felicia the Feline. She got knocked up before we got her fixed. She had her babies at the neighbors house. We brought the box with kittens home but FFtF took them all back to the neighbors. She weened them and moved on. We and the neighbors never saw her again.
Then we had Bandit, followed by Riley.
We have a dog now.
