Magnificent Summer Spread #Vegan

Yeah, so it’s summer, so we had this.

Thank you, farmers market!

That’s sliced tomatoes, bi-color corn, green beans and new red potatoes, and (not vegan) a cauliflower crepe. The egg I added to the cauliflower, flour, and spices before I spread it on a pan and baked it at 350F for 30 minutes or so was local and free-range, though.

What a feast!

I’m posting today at Fatal Foodies about Benedictine, one of my favorite summer treats.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about a feast.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

That all looks so good. I think this stuff looks better in the summer.

It IS better in the summertime, ’cause it’s fresh. I don’t even eat termaters except when I can get them fresh from the farmer. Or “corn on the pipe,” as Oldest Grandson used to call it.
