HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!
Mommy and Poppy got a new little baby couch, because the regular one is too big since Poppy builded a wall across part of the tv-watching room. They put the pieces up high where I can’t make them mine yet. They put the stuff they call “packing” down for me to play with.
I liked it.

Tipper liked it, too, but he tried to eat it! So Poppy took it away. Gee, thanks, Tipper!

Tipper: It tasted weird, but I liked the way it squeaked against my teef. I didn’t eat it, I chewed on it.
Whatever. Poppy still took it away. Boo!
I played with it a lot before that, though, and I took a nap. My foot stayed awake, though.

Just so Poppy wouldn’t think I was mad at him for taking away the packing, I took a nap with him, too.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you ever get to play with packing?

October 5, 2019 at 8:40amNaps are important. Packing material is often mistaken for cat and dog toys around here.

October 7, 2019 at 7:22amEverything’s a cat toy, as far as Chickie is concerned. For Tipper, if he can’t eat it, it’s bo-ring!

October 6, 2019 at 6:18amWe’ve all started taking our own shopping bags to the supermarket, and I bought a couple of ‘chill’ bags, for cold stuff. Made the mistake of leaving one of them on the ground. Harry fell in love with it coz it crackles too. Bye bye bag. Glad you got to play with the packing for a while Chickie. 🙂

October 7, 2019 at 7:23amChickie has always been a tunneler. The only thing she’s ever not cared about tunneling in was a tunneling toy I bought her. ~sigh~
