HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!
Clover, the groundhog cat, was very naughty this week, and Mommy is really mad. Clover snuck up on the Hens and Chicks plant…
AND EATED IT!!!!!
Maybe that’s why Mommy ran away last weekend to a thing called InConjunction in a place called Indianapolis.
On the way, she stopped off and took a picture of somebody else’s cat in a hammock, hugging its snuggle-baby.
While she was at the Indianapolis place, she took pictures of two of her favorites: a guy from the show she and #4 Hooman Sister love, Babylon 5…
…and a guy called JarJar Binks. Mommy says she’s the only person in the universe who loves him. She thinks he’s brave and brilliant and it doesn’t matter if he doesn’t talk the way she does.
But she came home, and she got a treat: A tortoise came to visit. For some reason, Mommy loves tortoises. She calls this one Kilroy.
Adi is still a meany-weany, but not as much as before. She still makes me nervous.
I mean, LOOK at that meany-weany face!
I guess she’s not too bad, though. We shared the cat tree one day.
But Tipper is still my bestie, besides Mommy.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Who is your bestie, besides your hooman?

July 9, 2022 at 12:31pmWhat fun! Sounds like a great time. May I wonder why I see no masks in the pictures? (Not of the cats or the groundhog, of course.)

July 11, 2022 at 3:50pmYou mean COVID masks? Science fiction geeks are fairly solitary. When we were told to stand 6 feet apart, we were like, “Why so close?”
