Is Organic Worth It? Fridays For Future, Climate Strike Online

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

It tastes better too. Because we’ve had to order in during the pandemic, and hence decontaminate every bit of food that we eat, we started growing our own in a much bigger way. We now have a big crop of tomatoes and even some sweet corn, along with spinach, lettuce, parsley and dill. We’ve never sprayed so everything is basically organic, and the flavour just pops in your mouth. 🙂

Yes, I miss our home-grown produce. The Farmers Market is great, but nothing beats it when somebody says, “What’s for supper?” and you can say, “I don’t know — I’ll go out and see what’s ripe.” I still dream about it. But once the dog died, we can’t keep the critters away, so we gave up.
