One-Liner Wednesday: Oh, Noes!

Sara was talking to my future son-in-law, and asked him about the D&D game he had recently played — if “played” is the word I want for a game that takes quick thinking and deep strategy.

ANYWAY, she asked him how it went, and he was sorry to have to say:

They slaughtered my goblin cub scouts.

When she told me this, I was all, Oh, poor little things!

Then she told me the goblin cub scouts had been earning merit badges by killing humans, and suddenly the slaughter wasn’t so pitiable, somehow.
