Thursday Doors: Around and About

I was driving in Louisville the other day, something I seldom do, and the GPS lady and I were not getting along. I knew where I was, and I knew where I was going, but GPS and I were just not on the same page. Maybe she was giving me instructions faster than I could listen to them, or I don’t know what, but I had to pull over to the curb and get my head straightened out.

It must have worked because not only did I reach my destination on time, I thought to snap pictures of a couple of doors while I was parked.

Here is some church, or a place that used to be a church. It might be repurposed. Some gorgeous churches are now community centers or food/clothing distribution centers, and there’s one in Louisville (to which I must go some day) that’s a Mexican restaurant.

I don’t think this is it.

This door’s window needs some tlc.

This trailer is surrounded by doors, in addition to its own.

These dogs were sleeping peacefully until I stopped to snap their picture. Apparently, they’re not fans of doorparazzi.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

“Doorparazzi” I think we have a new entry for the Thursday Doors lexicon. Good job. That dog doesn’t look happy, though. Remember, no bail and no medical coverage while in search of doors. I hope you find that Mexican restaurant. Doors and a food review would be a nice combo.

That dog went from snoozeville to giving me hell in a New York second.
