Caturday: Adi the Baddy

Hewwo. Um, I’m Adi, okay?

I was bad dis week. Chickie wants to play, but she plays too rough, and I hiss at her when she tries. I think CHICKIE’S de bad one!

EverMom took me to the Combing Chair. First she dust petteded me, and I like dat. I curleded up and purrrred.

Super loaf! No head!

Chickie was jealous!

Why not me?

Den EverMom started de Horrible Combing!

De Comb Ob Ebil!

I growled and sqriggled, but EverMom shushed me and petted me and told me I was a good girl, den she finally let me down before I askidentally poked more bleedy holes in her.

More to be done.

Maybe I LIKE knots in my fur!

Daphne and Velma have been shedding like crazy. Happily, they like brushing and combing. Although I don’t appreciate the love bites that come with it. LOL Hugs.

Shame on you, Adi! I know it can hurt, but turning your Mum into a pincushion hurts too. It’s a pity cats can’t get shorn, not right down to the skin, but shorter. Mogi [our dog] has very long fur too [it gets dreadlocks], and the Offspring bought a zoomer thing that cuts her fur for summer. It works surprisingly well. 😀

Oh, long-haired cats do get “lion” cuts, where they’re shorn except for a ruff around their necks. The groomer asked if I wanted that done to Adi the one time I took her, but her hair is so beautiful!
