Sunday Snapshot: Promise Kept

Last year, when I fell in the woods and broke both wrists, I promised my kids I’d buy hiking shoes before I went out again. These are my new hiking shoes. The rod coming out of one of them is my late mother’s walking cane, which I also promised to use.

Those look good. Lace ’em up tight and use that walking cane or get yourself some trekking poles.
