You wouldn’t know it to see how I slop around the house, but I love pretty lady dresses. The dresses are pretty, I mean; I don’t care what the ladies look like as long as their dresses are pretty. That’s one of the reasons I love period drama so much.

So I found a color-by-number app called, appropriately, GOWN COLOR. One of my artist friends is not impressed, because you don’t do anything but touch the screen and the numbered color appears.

But I’m not artistic, and I couldn’t color a dress with this detail and shading. Also: they make their money by showing a metric fuckton of ads and by selling you chunks of ad-free time; they also make money by making some of the color bits so tiny they’re almost impossible to see and selling hints to show you where they’re hidden. So I stick it to capitalism by muting the ads and by searching and tapping at random until I find all the bits for free.

God, I’m petty.

My nails this week are matte brown (Matt Brown would be a good character name, wouldn’t it?) with shiny swoops on them. I did beige leafs on my pinky fingers, but that looked boring, so I swooped those, too.
