Caturday: Chickie Doesn’t Cry

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

Mommy said, “DON’T CRY, but you can’t call #4 Sister’s AlmostMister that anymore, because he isn’t her AlmostMister now. DON’T CRY! LISTEN TO ME!”

Then she said that #4 Hooman Sister and Michael, her AlmostMister (before) got marinated, and now he’s a full-grown SisterMister!

Mommy: They got married, Chickie. Sara and Michael got married.

Getting marinated must be fun, because Mommy showed me a picture, and they look really happy.

Meanwhile, at home, I thought it would be fun to climb onto Mommy’s desk and jump over and climb up one of her nail polish racks.

It didn’t work too good.

I didn’t break anything, though, so that’s all right. Isn’t it, Mommy? It’s all right, isn’t it?

At least I’m not a crazy-head like Mommy’s friend Joy’s new puppy cat, Murphy. Joy brought him to see Mommy, and Mommy said he’s like one solid wiggle muscle.

When Mommy came in from visiting him in Joy’s car, Mommy smelled like wiggleworms all over.

It’s warm enough for Mommy to leave the curtains open because she doesn’t have to save the heat so much, and I’m keeping track of Clover, the groundhog. So far, she’s behaving herself. But I have to stay alert, just in case she gets up to shenanigans.

    Well, Marian, your prompt may have been wiggleworm, but I LOL’d at “marinated!” It seems like a proper word for two people bound together in love. 😀

    lol – I’m with Alicia – congratulations to the marinated couple and the new sistermister. It’s never easy being a ‘almost’. So did you get any of the cake, Chickie? Ask your Mum for more pics please!

      The reception will be in the fall, after Sara submits her finalized thesis and has time to recover. lol! Chickie will NOT get any cake! Cake is bad for kitties. (That’s what I tell her, anyway.)
