Monday Recommends and Nail Art: Sweet News and Salty Nails

One of my favorite accounts to follow on Instagram is Jenn, That Good News Girl. Happily for those who don’t have Instagram, she’s also on YouTube. Most of her videos (the ones my algorithm serves me, anyway) are about animals; animals saving people, people saving animals, animals saving other animals — the key element is happy endings. I like happy endings.

Pursuant to that preference, I went to a No Kings demonstration on Saturday. There were about 250 people on the square of our little town, and many MANY supportive honks and waves from drivers passing by.

I did my nails for the occasion, using a cancer defiance plate and two plates with quotes and images from Hamilton.

History has its eyes on you.
