HELLO! My name is CHICKIE! Whew! I’m glad Story-A-Day May is over. Making up stories is hard! Telling the truth is a lot easier.

Mommy got some imjections the other day, one for measles and one for shingles. I don’t know why she wants those things, because she told me what they are and they sound bad.

Mommy: I got INjections to prevent my getting them. I already had three kinds of measles when I was little, and I don’t want any new and improved kind.

Anyway, the imjections made her arms sore, so I decided to cheer her up. I caught a cricket.

I put it in Mommy’s bed so she’d find it and be surprised. But she didn’t go to bed early enough, so I ate it. I left her the skin and the drumsticks, though, and those are the best parts.

Then I did some poses for her. That always makes her happy.

She’s all better now, and she didn’t get sick, just tired and sore in the arm.
