Thursday Doors: Sara in Spain

#ThursdayDoors #writingprompt

Here are some more pictures from Sara from her field school trip to Spain. The first three are from Madrid.

“The arches of the Temple of Debod, a 2nd century BCE Egyptian temple that was gifted to Spain after the Spanish government helped save the temple from a flood.”

“Random balcony with doors.”

“Padilla de Duero” — The village where they lived during field school.

And their lab/dorm.

More Spain pics to come, with occasional breaks for any I might manage to snap.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

She really was lucky. She got to do two field schools in undergrad: To St. Petersburg, Russia, where she studied curating, and to Spain, where she helped excavate a Bronze Age necropolis.
