I was watching Grey’s Anatomy but I stopped because, IMHO, it jumped All The Sharks in Season 4. I’ve switched to ER, because 1) I like doctor shows and 2) it started airing in 1994. Since it’s so old, I can get a kick out of the cultural and technological changes (people smoking in the ER, using a “state of the art” brick — otherwise known as an early cell phone — setting off electronic devices). I can also get a kick out of seeing actors/actresses I know from later things (baby George Clooney as a chestnut-haired baby doctor, Rosemary Clooney as a crooning patient, Andrea Parker, baby William H. Macy).

I’ve also spent considerable time in an ER, what with Mom, Charlie, the kids, and myself, and it amuses me how much more chaotic the TV intake is and how much less bizarre the whole experience is.

My nails this week are tres classy. The base color is called Skin Deep, and the stamps are done mostly in Marshmallow with one stamp on the accent nail in Blanc.
