HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!
You know what’s funny about three cats in the house? Two of us can be friends and fight with the other one, and we can change who’s who. Tipper has been really fighty this week, so Adi and I have been pals. We even shared the catio.
Mommy has been watching this show called ALONE, where people live in the woods. WE live in the woods, but she said, “These people have to build their own house.” I said, “Poppy built our own house.” She said, “They have to find their own food.” I said, “You grow food.” She said, “They have wild cats.”
I said, “And?”
She didn’t say anything after that, so I think I won.
Mommy used to have a pig when she was just a kitten (when Mommy was a kitten, not when the pig was), and she kept it in the corner.
Then she moved it, and I played a trick on her.
She laughed and laughed. Then she put the pig back in the corner where it belongs. I like things the same.

March 23, 2026 at 9:07amI put all the cat toys into boxes and let them pull out what they want. First picks: a ribbon, a torn and chewed-up element from a one-larger toy, and a dish cloth with a hole in it.

March 21, 2026 at 10:52amI don’t think cats ever like change unless it means more food or another soft place to sleep. My Gibbs especially does not like time changes when it comes to feeding time..he is hopelessly a creature of habit when it comes to eating.
Hope Tipper is less fighty today. Maybe he needs a stuffed cat toy, one he could have beat downs with when in the mood.

March 23, 2026 at 9:05amI have automatic feeders, so the food always comes at the “same time” all year, but MY time changes, and that bothers the cats more than it does me.
Tipper is much less fighty today. Sometimes I know what triggers him, but sometimes he just gets his kitten britches in a twist.
Funny about the cat toy: I have a mechanical cat, and Tipper LOVES it and grooms it like his baby. Chickie is the one who tried to murder it.
