Thursday Doors: From London, With Love

#ThursdayDoors #writingprompt

This comes from friend and fellow writer Andrea Gilbey.

“A door for you! This is one of many doors that lead from Fleet Street, the former newspaper publishing street in London, down to the Inns of Court where the high court barristers have their chambers. The doors were all closed today, but this one leads down to the circular Temple Church….”

And this one, she says, is a door to nowhere. A likely story! That’s Andrea, by the way. I think the door is oversized, because I’ve met Andrea, and she isn’t itty bitty.

Those are lovely doors. I’m not sure about that second one going nowhere. I think, at the right time of day (or more likely night) you go through that door and emerge somewhere very interesting.
