Back when I watched Zootopia, I recommended it highly because I thought it was hi-larious. Now I’ve watched Zootopia 2, and I recommend it MORE highly, because I think it’s MORE hi-larious. If you don’t like puns and references to other movies that zoom past at nearly the speed of light, this is not for you. It’s for ME.

It doesn’t hurt that Ke Huy Quan does the voice of the snake, and I just purely love that actor. Just purely LOVE him! Also David Strathairn, who was my and Charlie’s imaginary actor boyfriend. We both thought he was a fabulous talent, infamously overlooked. I’m happy as a clam that I’ve seen him in two major roles this year: in Zootopia 2 and in Man On The Inside Season 2.

Anyway, watch it. We streamed it on Disney+, but it’s available on DVD. We think we’ll buy both 1 and 2 so we can watch them even if it ever goes off on-line. Plus: extras!

Now, “flahrs” is what we called flowers where I grew up, and I have flahrs on my nails this week. All nails are painted copper except for the index fingers, which are painted a weird shade of dark blue. The thumbs and accent nails are stamped with the same dark blue, with the base color showing through the negative space. Cool, yeah?

As Charlie’s Aunt Ora Mae would say, now ain’t that purty?
