Eat, Look At Pictures, Learn, Laugh

I’m housecleaning my links, to go along with my new site theme. Thinking about moving more of them out of the sidebar and onto pages.

Meanwhile, here are some I’m adding:

Eat The Seasons — Find what’s in season in the northern hemisphere month by month. Useful for shopping or research. What is your heroine fixing fresh for Valentine’s Day? Could your villain slip poison mushrooms to your victim at a Summer Solstice party? Here’s where to go to look it up.

Burning Well — Public domain images. Yay!

I Ching Online — Virtually cast virtual coins to get the answers to your questions. SO COOL!

Homestar Runner — Must be experienced to be believed. Mom, don’t even try. It’s a cartoony thing, and I don’t think it’ll run on dial-up. Besides, it’s the kind of thing that makes me roll around on the floor, helpless with laughter, and you go, “Oh, really? This amuses you?”

See youse guys tomorrow.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Go to the I Ching Online and ask a question about one of your story characters.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
