Mah Cah

Dis mah cah:

Okay, yes, I’m lying. Are you happy, now? But, in my imagination, I totally own a Mini Cooper.

And my other car is a Volvo Amazon, like this one on Wikipedia:

Mah uddah cah.

So, if you see me driving down the street, imagine I’m imagining myself driving one of these two vehicles and steer well clear of me. Word to the wise.

This being Tuesday, I’m posting today at Fatal Foodies on the subject of Buckskin Bread (with recipe).

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: What vehicle does your main character drive? What vehicle does he or she imagine driving?

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

A very nice choice of cars, Marian!

And lol, now I realize my main character is driving… the same car I bought this month. ROFL. Well, it’s my favorite after all. You will see more of it soon.

My characters never drive what I’m driving. You’re so lucky to be driving your favorite car! šŸ™‚

I fell in love with the Equalizer’s sleek Jaguar. That, and his wonderful overcoat. I always figured the car was as much an accessory as the coat. And perhaps as expensive?

I kind of had a kind of thing for The Equalizer, himself. Kinda.

I didn’t like those at all until I saw “The Italian Job.”

Now, I can totally see myself in one of those.

No, I can’t. At 5’11”, it’d be good for about 2 miles before everything cramped up and I was screaming for a can opener.

I’m told the Mini Cooper is very roomy inside. Since I’ve never been in one, I wouldn’t know. ~sigh~
