Pitty Fowlers and a Hot Flash

Pitty fowlers is how our then-wee #4 daughter — who grew up to be the awesomesauce Sara Marian — used to say “pretty flowers”.

Oh, before I forget, since today is the first of the month, there’s a new Hot Flash on the Hot Flashes page. Hot Flashes are tiny little stories–fireflies for your mind–usually of no more than 50 words, including the titles.

Anyway:

Pitty Fowlers

I’m posting today at Fatal Foodies on the topic of Tilapia and Veg.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Write about what flowers mean to someone.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
