Amidala is taking the day off and letting me do a Caturday post, as I used to do before she came. As I told her, one Calico to another, I’m generally glad to turn the Caturday duties over to her, but I do like to post now and then, just to keep my paw in.
As long-time readers know, my mom is Amidala’s mom’s Mom. I call Amidala’s mom MomGoth, though, because Amidala’s mom is like a second Mom to me — and she’s kind of strange.
For instance, she likes to take pictures of me doing ordinary things. Like sleeping.
She caught me cat-napping in the hut her #2 Daughter gave me. I woke up, though. Ha!
Then she found me sleeping in my cat bed. Mom says I never sleep in it, but I do. It’s just hard to make room for myself alongside all the toys I used to play with when I was little.
Sometimes I sleep in the closet, or under the bed, or behind the couch, or on a chair, or on the back of the couch, but here’s my favorite place:
On the bed, snuggled up next to my mom. When I do that, you should hear me purr! Mom says, “Do you hear that lawnmower?” Then she pets me, and I purr even louder.
Life is good for a cat with people who love her!

We like the bed, especially for naps. Squirrel and I even let Goober nap with us if he sneaks in and doesn’t cause any trouble. Goober has many select spots to rest his heavy @$$. A soft coating is preferred for the surface. And someone else must want to sleep or sit there as well. He also likes sun shaft sitting, but that crazy sun just keeps moving around. Baffling, eh?

March 29, 2016 at 2:12amAwe, that’s a really cute post! Sweetie Pie looks a little annoyed that you busted her sleeping in the cat hut. I’m not even a cat person, but this makes me kind of want to pet one, my dogs wouldn’t like that much, though.
